History
Bedworth Wesleyan Reform Church (to give the church its full title) began as a breakaway from the Old Meeting House Congregational Church in Bedworth. In their early days the congregation met in a house in the centre of Bedworth before renting rooms in various churches in the town. Eventually they were given a loan from Mr William Johnson MP to purchase land and build a new church, on the corner of Bulkington Road and New Street, Bedworth. Our church has been on that site now since 1910.
During the ministry of Revd Stephen Griffiths, our last full-time Minister, we decided to adopt the name by which local people know our church - The Little Chapel, or TLC for short. Our logo was designed to reflect this change.
Since Stephen retired and he and his wife Meryl moved away, Graham Johnson, who has been at TLC since 1994 , and who is semi-retired, has taken over as Pastor, on a part-time basis.
